The One Where I Finish Christmas Related Posts

Christmas Eve Afternoon Cookie Decorating

The girls were serious about making them look just right and Hutch was serious about eating them.

After a trip to church, we headed to the gray house for dinner and presents.  Chloe was less than thrilled at the prospect of photo shoots.

Finn knew enduring and smiling would get her to the presents faster!

Her $0.80 light up shirt--super cute isnt it?

Two girls planking!

J.B.'s first Christmas and he was having a blast!!

Sprinkling reindeer food all around the yard!
Silly pajama faces!

Finn's stash from the guy in red!

Chloe's impressive haul!

Hutch's hefty pile!

J.B.'s small but adequate present stash

Stockings were hung

J.B. trying his new toy out!

Hey, buddy this is almost my only present.  Get back!

The one where I start Christmas related posting

Do any of you remember how all the episodes of Friends would have a title similar to the one I chose above? For the next several posts, my titles are all going to be in this format. If you don't like it you can stop reading. As I have said before, my blog, my dumb ideas!

Right before the girls were let out of school for Christmas, I took a day and went to do a special activity with their class. We are not allowed to come to their class parties, so this is my way of being involved. I took lots of supplies including frosting, candy and ice cream cones and they made edible trees. Every kid loved it! Most trees were only halfway completed before the tasting started but it was a lot of fun.

Finn's tree has no decorations but she sneaks some green icing anyway.

Her half eaten finished product!

Chloe working on hers and smiling so sweetly. Chloe's class got even less done than Finn's before they tasted theirs. I didn't get to make one but I really enjoyed spending the time with my girls and their friends.

In Trouble

This post is a direct result of the guilt and pain I felt at my Aunt Kaye's tongue lashing and stink eye treatment tonight over my lack of updates. I really am sorry but it seems like life is always getting in the way now. I'm going to do better, pinkie swear.

So in this long overdue post J.B. turns 7 months old! Isn't he a cutie pie?

He is a very smiley happy baby and hasn't mastered sitting up just yet. He is still a string bean of a baby but we love him anyway. He wears 6-12 months clothes most of the time even though they are a bit baggy.

I heart you so much stinker-puss!

In case you were wondering, his tiny toes look like this!

And a final shot of his perfect little fist! Such a sweet sweet baby!

To Sleep Perchance to Dreeeem

I'm planning on waking the blog up and getting up to date very very soon. But until I do here are few pics of trips to dream land for the boys.

Finley volunteered to read to Hutch and this is what happened. Isn't this the cutest thing ever?

Feed a baby too much and he will not be able to keep his eyes open. Or clean his face up.

Hutch loves getting to sleep in the big bed in our room. Most every night he ends up there and loves
the cuddle time.

Hutch turns 2!

Right before Thanksgiving I had a minor operation so Hutch's birthday was low-key since I was still recovering. He had a great time though. He had a motorcycle balloon, Mickey Mouse plates, and dump "pucks" on his cake.

Here he is being shy about being sung to!

Eating his cake and loving it!

Present time!

The night before he really turned two!

His last picture as a 1 year old!

The terrible twos can start right now. And boy did they!

I call this one boy in box! Or boy in box be happy!

The Coldest Day Ever!!!!

On a Friday in November I had the pleasure of tagging along on a field trip with Chloe's preschool class. Remember my post about all the nice weather we were having? Well it was gone by this and really really cold. And windy. And COLD! It was not the best day to go on a walking tour of scarecrows in the park but we did. For three very cold hours we were outside. Here is Chloe trying to stay warm.

All of the kids had fun in these cut out scarecrows. Doesn't she look adorable and chilly?

This sign was made by none other than TeeTee herself.

One more random add-on: Finn's school had a storybook character pageant during the book fair. Finn was the dog from If you give a dog a donut and was so happy that she got to eat the donut when she was done.

Outside Playtime

While we were having awesome Fall weather, we took full advantage of it! On this particular day, J.B. got his first ride in the red swing and Chloe flew through the air at warp speeds. Hutch spent his time investigating a family of ants.

He was having such a great time !

Staring down the ants with his angry eyes.

One of my favorite pictures of Hutch ever. Love this boy so much!

Chloe taking flight! Look at her go!
