Going to the Beach

The weekend before J.B. officially turned numero uno, we headed to the beach for a couple of days.  The last time the girls had been to the beach was when I was pregnant with Hutch.  We just don't make time to go down there but we are going to change that really soon.  Here we are after arriving at the hotel.  The girls were anxious to help us unpack the car and get on the sand.

Hutch had to help too!

J.B.'s breakfast on Saturday was definitely whole grain.

Group shots are always tricky and generally unsuccessful.

Whatcha got there Hutchie man?  A sand dollar?  Cool.  I think I am going to have a closer look.

Hand it over and I won't drool on you.

Sandy Finn loved everything about our day.

Especially the dolphin sightings!

My view for most of the day.  Our most awesome neighbor, Ms. Warren, loaned us a huge 12x12 canopy and it made all the difference in the world.  We were able to stay shaded and really enjoy ourselves.  I will not beach it up ever again, unless I have one to use.

Dolphins came back!

Super sandy baby toes!

Just the girls!

WHAAAAAATTTT? NO WAY!!!

Much to my dismay, J.B. continues to get older. He turned 11 months old not that long ago and as you can tell he was a bit shocked at first when I reminded him.
Then he decided it wouldn't be such a bad thing to get older. Somebody might have spilled the beans that he gets cake at the next age milestone.
In the end, though, he decided he really wanted to stay 10 months old and was very sad when I said he couldn't. I am too little peanut. I am too.

Easter Sunday

Daddy and his kidlets-- can anybody guess what's on Hutch's finger that concerns him so?

The whole family-- in case you are wondering this was the best shot out of 30+ taken of all of us together on this day

Me and my sweet babies

My Finnie in her favorite color purple

Baby blue for super sweet Chloe

Hutch's outfit caused me lots of grief as I attempted to track all the pieces down after they sold out online.  Thank you janieandjack for making adorable baby boy Easter outfits this year and having associates in your store that don't mind helping a desperate mother out.

J.B. had a matching hat too but at this point in the day he wanted none of it.

Hutch, head to toe....I triple love his outfit and cannot wait for J.B. to grow a LOT and fit into it.

A little more egg hunt fun!

Round Up Catch Up

This is another post that will include little writing and tons of pictures.  This was one of the many egg hunts we attended.  Hutch looking a little sad that it wasn't time to find the eggs yet.

Girls ready and raring to go!

Off we go to find the golden egg!

Loving on Daddy!

Found One!

Searching hard!

Oh yeah, she got one!

A group of very very sweet kids that I hope we know for many years to come!

The week that followed was special because Aunt Kaye came to visit for the first time.

Hutch's face got more and more dirty as we played in the yard that night at the gray house.  But I am beginning to believe that boys always have dirty faces.

The fab four and Kaye!

TeeTee and her special Finn

This is one of the many reasons I love her so much!  She makes life so so fun!

Tag you are it!

Hutch was looking out for J.B. and making sure he wasn't hungry.

Wild Hair time!

What a face!  Completely dirty and achingly adorable.

Beautiful!

Jumping off the side of the steps is a LOT of fun, unless you are too scared to actually jump.
